Welcome to the Verbier Ride winter 08/09 website.
The Verbier Ride is a European level pro/am Slope Style event offering athletes over 500 hours of TV airtime and the chance to hang out in Verbier for a long weekend. It is also a Qualifier for the ‘Orage European Open’ in Laax.
This coming season’s event on the 13th + 14th December will prove once again to be a great success with the world's top riders throwing it down in the Slope Style discipline. Freestyle skiing is rapidly becoming the major influence on winter sports and the Verbier Ride is deeply etched in the European vanguard of the movement. The Freeski message is all about self-expression on snow and the community of participation on and off the mountain. This season’s Verbier Ride will encapsulate these ideas and bring them together in a competitive showcase environment. Don't miss the action, get to Verbier for the weekend of the event and see one of Switzerland's premiere terrain parks hosting some of Europe's best talent.
